1/6 - Bulls vs. Kings

Hughes tried his best to secretly make the Bulls lose (along with the terrible coaching of Vinny Del Negro) but higher powers prevailed. Larry finished the night with:

4/10 shooting (that's 40% for you non-Mathletes), 10 points, 5 boards, 3 dimes, 1 steal and 3 turnovers.

Well, the good news is Hughes improved his play from his disgusting 3/18 shooting his last two games but he still sucked overall. The instant Hughes checked in, he threw a pass right to a Sacramento King player.

I was encouraged that the Larry Hughes F'N Sucks bandwagon is picking up steam because when Hughes was announced a smattering of boos could be heard at the United Center, as well as after a few of his patented boneheaded mistakes too.

Hughes did rebound the ball well, I'll give him that and he had a couple of nice passes which lead to baskets but his defense was atrocious. I've never seen someone get as much credit as he does for being a good defender (mostly in the past) for a guy who GAMBLES more than Charles Barkley on a Saturday Night. Kevin Martin was blowing past Hughes most of the game. Hughes did clock nearly 28 minutes mostly at SG but he got a big chunk of minutes at SF which is a NO NO. He's simply not good enough for that.

Thabo clocked 27 minutes and played well, hopefully this along with the eventual return of Kirk Hinrich will resolve in less minutes (or more importantly a trade) for the chucker that is Larry Hughes.

Next Game, Friday vs. Washington. Tune in to see Larry Hughes get abused by Caron Butler and DeShawn Stevenson.

Go Bulls!
